Position: Mechanical Engineer Factory location: Al-Kharj Industrial City Core Responsibilities: - Technical Submittals & Documentation: prepare and review technical submittals, material compliance sheets, and data sheets for factory components like valves or fittings. - Shop Drawings: create and review detailed shop drawings, piping layouts, and assembly plans using CAD or Solidworks to guide the production team. - Quantity Surveying & Estimation: perform material take-offs (MTO) and prepare budget estimates or Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for manufacturing projects. - Quality Assurance & Compliance: ensure products meet SASO or ISO certifications and prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP). - Procurement Support: evaluate technical offers from suppliers and subcontractors. - Production supervision: direct technicians (pipe fitters, welders, painters & plumbers). Key Skills: - Mastery of AutoCAD, Solidworks and Microsoft Office. - Coordination with consultants, sales and on-site production teams. - Experience: 5 years & more (3 years at least in factories). - Iqama transferable.
